Nice post Rob, any business story told with a golf analogy catches my interest without fail. This great game IS an analogy for life but I won't go on ........

I agree with David, we often can inadvertently take advice from the wrong people, & sometimes we even take advice from the right people and then fail to implement it. Why do we allow ourselves to do that?

Great advice Rob - too often we tend to take advice from people withouth thinking of their background.

By the way - what is your handicap?

Rob, will your model provide a lead or a customer and is your current footprint all of Australia on a well proportioned mix?

I anticipated something like PAN it is a better model than those in the past. This new idea does recognize your niche' and I am sure many of the short comings of the 10X model. We have managed to find a place in 10x in our business but slightly different than first envisioned. It has taught me a lot and given my investment was to be educated beyond tax I certainly learnt a lesson or two; believe it or not I am thankful for the experience.

Did the Syd - Perth bus trip last Sept. Might add that the pretty young things need to broaden their vocab when dealing with bus set. Really had no idea how to communicate with baby boomers or gen x. Might all the music channels were targeting their own generation and younger, need to widen choice to suit new market. Agree with comment re lack of back up equipment - that happened on return journey, was offered middnight alternative and it broke down on the run way as well( old Emirates 200 equipment is been used on Perth sector). Just called Virgin to enquire about Bus class Syd - Bris, was told no idea when it would commence. Went to Web site and suddenly all flights have it from Jan 18th? Why am I doubtful? As an SQ Solitaire member I would suggest to my fellow colleagues not to jump in, tread carefully for a year or so.

Matthew, I filter very quickly. I have been 'into' personal or business development material for 25 years. Not a lot of new out there - but a lot of fine tuning. I think too many people are looking for the silver bullet and the quick fix. It does not exist. I like Jim's work - bit heavy though.
